The project is located in Kolhapur and Ratnagiri Districts, Maharashtra. It will comprise an upper reservoir formed by a Geomembrane-Faced Rockfill Dam and a lower reservoir formed by a Concrete Gravity Dam. The upper reservoir is located in Kolhapur District, while the lower reservoir is located in Ratnagiri District. DPR preparation is currently under progress.
