Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, located on the River Betwa near Sukhwan-Dhukwan village in Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh, was entrusted to THDCIL by the Government of Uttar Pradesh for implementation. The project utilizes the storage of the existing reservoir of Dhukwan masonry cum Earthen Dam. Project comprises a surface powerhouse equipped with three 8 MW vertical Kaplan turbine-generator units, with a total installed capacity of 24 MW. The project was commissioned during 2019–20.
